Four-channel motorised performance
The PERFORMER is built around four software decks and a four-channel mixer, but the two physical platters are motorised rather than static. Deck layers allow all four software decks to be controlled from the two platter sections while keeping a full four-channel mixer in the centre.
This gives DJs the physical response of a moving platter while retaining the flexibility of a modern four-deck controller.
Colour platter displays
Each platter includes a 3.5-inch colour display. Views can show moving waveforms, track progress, artwork and library information, along with essential deck data such as BPM, pitch, key, time, loop size and waveform position.

Serato Stems and Stem Split
Stems are deeply integrated into the PERFORMER. Dedicated controls provide fast access to Acapella, Instrumental and Stems pad modes, while Stem Split can separate vocal and instrumental parts across different mixer channels.
Stem Level can repurpose the three-band EQ for vocal, melody/bass and drum control, making the mixer itself part of the Stems workflow rather than treating stems as an isolated pad feature.
29 internal FX and software effects
RANE includes a dedicated internal effects engine with 29 hardware effects. Serato DJ Pro software effects can also be used, giving the controller both standalone mixer effects and software-driven processing.

Precision Feel channel faders
The four channel faders use RANE’s Precision Feel design and can be adjusted for tension. The MAG FOUR crossfader is also user-serviceable and tension adjustable, with curve and reverse controls available from the front panel.
External decks and DVS
Two rear RCA inputs for decks 3 and 4 can be switched between phono and line level. That allows turntables, media players or other analogue sources to be mixed through the controller.
With the relevant Serato DVS capability, those inputs can also be used with control vinyl or CDs for a hybrid setup.
Professional outputs and microphones
Main output is available on balanced XLR and RCA, while a separate balanced TRS booth/zone output supports professional monitoring or a second audio area. Two XLR/TRS microphone inputs have independent gain and EQ, with Mic 1 also providing Echo and Talkover.
