The RANE SEVENTY is a professional two-channel battle mixer built for Serato DJ Pro. MAG FOUR faders
The SEVENTY uses three MAG FOUR contactless faders: two channel faders and one crossfader. All three are interchangeable and user-replaceable, and the crossfader tension can be adjusted to suit different scratch and mixing styles.
Cut-in can be configured through the mixer’s menu or RANE Control Panel software, allowing the point at which each fader opens to be tailored more precisely.
Dual Flex FX engines
Two independent Flex FX engines allow different internal effects to be assigned to each deck or stacked together on a single channel. Built-in options include Echo, Hold Echo, Duck Echo, Reverb, Brake, Phaser and Flanger.
Serato software effects can also be layered with the internal Flex FX, giving the mixer a broader effects workflow without making the laptop the only source of processing.
16 performance pads
Eight Akai Pro pads sit on each side of the mixer. Available modes include Hot Cue, Pitch Play, Saved Loops, Flip, Roll, Sampler, Scratch Bank, Transport and custom MIDI-mapped pad sets.
Because the pad sections are independent, the two decks can use different pad modes at the same time.
Serato Stems compatibility
The SEVENTY is compatible with Serato DJ Pro’s Stems features. A pad mode can be configured for Stems operation, giving existing SEVENTY users access to modern vocal, instrumental and element-separation workflows without replacing the mixer.
FX paddles and performance controls
Two die-cast aluminium FX paddles provide momentary or latched effect control. They can also be physically reversed if a DJ prefers the latch and hold directions swapped.
This type of tactile effect switching is especially useful for scratch routines where effects need to be punched in and out rapidly rather than adjusted through a touchscreen.
Turntables, media players and RANE TWELVE
Two CD/phono RCA inputs allow conventional turntables and media players to be connected. Two USB-A accessory ports can also host compatible MIDI controllers such as the RANE TWELVE MKII, making the SEVENTY a natural centrepiece for a digital battle-style setup.
Dual USB computer connections
